LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) and LPG (Liquefied
Petroleum Gas) are commonly used in daily life for many families. Both are
colorless and flammable. An explosion would be caused by a spark or a flame
if they severely leak. To detect the leakage of natural gas, the detector
should be placed at higher position near the ceiling, because natural gas is
lighter than air. And for LPG, a proper location for detection is about 30cm
above the floor, since it's heavier than air. |
